Could you tell me your what your menu looks like for a typical day on induction? I'm trying to get ideas.

    Re: typical day

When I was on induciton a typical day's menu was something like this

    Breakfast
Slice of crustless quiche (made on Sunday) with some cherry tomatoes or
Flax bun spread with butter and Marmite (yeast extract) and some raw mushrooms/tomatoes or
Ham & cheese rollups plus some cherry tomatoes

Lunch (usually eaten at a local cafe)
Ham & cheese omelette with mixed green salad, some slices of cucumber & tomato plus mayo
Roast pork or chicken (no gravy) with green veggies with butter melted on top or
Bacon, eggs, tomatoes & mushrooms or
Warm chicken & bacon over a bed of iceberg lettuce sprinkled with chopped red/yellow/green peppers and a few slices of tomatoes/cucumbers plus mayo
I usually eat only about a cup of the lettuce as they always pile too much for induction on the plate.

    Dinner (cooked at home)
'lasagne' made with aubergines (eggplant) in place of the pasta sheets layered with meat & cheese sauce or
Chicken curry served over caulirice or
Crayfish tails in mayo served over a bed of lettuce, chopped peppers & celery or
Slices of grilled courgette (zucchini) sprinkled with cooked chopped bacon and covered with grated cheese then put under the grill to melt and bubble or
A couple of soft boiled eggs with some flax bread 'soldiers' to dip in them or
Chopped chicken breast served over a salad plus mayo or
    Cauliflower cheese

I am not really a 'dessert' person but sometimes I had stewed rhubarb and cream if I fancied fruit.

    Hope this helps.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

The best advice is for you to sit down with a copy of the Induction Acceptable Foods list and the Induction Rules and see what foods you like to eat. Then you can make a menu out of it.

Elizellen's menu is great, provided you can eat eggs and seafood. But what if you are allergic to these foods or simply don't eat them? So look at the Foods List and cobble out a menu of the foods YOU can and like to eat.

        Mine went something like this...

        Breakfast:
2 or 3 egg scramble with bell peppers, onions and ham
Coffee with cream and sweet n low

        Lunch:
2 cups of romaine lettuce with cucumbers, bell peppers, olives, broccoli, cheese, chicken breast and ranch dressing. In other words - a huge salad.

        or

baked chicken breast (tossed in butter then in parmesan cheese and spices)
        steamed broccoli with butter

        Dinner:
        grilled steak
green beans with garlic and butter

Dessert: (not often since I'm normally not hungry)

My menu varied a lot. Here's an example of an induction menu per Linda's website: http://genaw.com/lowcarb/induction_m...on_menu_2.html
