  • Pressure Cooking Meats

Yesterday I bought a pressure cooker and made up some low-carb pork spareribs. Never having used a pressure cooker, I didn't know what to expect as a final result. I can happily report that it was a great investment, in fact I think everyone should think seriously about getting themselves a good pressure cooker.

These ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and tasted fantastic. With a little more tweaking, I'm sure I can get even better results. If you are on induction and want to thrill up your menu, seriously consider getting a pressure cooker and doing some of your meats in this way.

    Good suggestion

Another good 'gadget' is a slow cooker/crockpot which though it needs much longer (I leave mine on high all day) does a great job without needing to be on hand to 'tend' it.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

      Re: Pressure Cooking Meats

I adore my pressure cooker and use it for all sorts of things, from roasts to stews to minestrone...
Would also love to have a slow cooker, but sadly, they don't have them here in Italy. Am waiting for someone to come down by car, so I can have them bring one!
