This is my 2nd time doing Atkins, the first was a couple years ago and I lost 60 pounds over about 5 months. I'm on my 2nd day, I figured the first of the month was good day to begin again. I began at 235 and when I weighed myself this morning I was 232. During my first attempt at Atkins the weighted peeled off quickly and I wasn't even being active during that time. This time around I am running at least a mile a day, sometimes more. My significant other is leaving for Taiwan in 3 weeks and we won't see each other again until January, so I hope I can be a surprise and have a much different body by that time.

nice job---especially the running part! It's hard not become a scale-watcher---but give it a try for a week at a time if you can.
