I don't know how many of you know this but there is a device out there that measures your ACCURATE RMR - resting metabolic rate.
I'm in the Chicagoland area so I can only speak for this area but I know that Bally's has the devices. I believe they are called bodygem. www.bodygem.com
They're pricey so it's best to find someplace in your area that actually has one and you can sign up for it.
I got mine done and I think it was well worth it.
FYI, basically, your RMR is what your body burns with you doing absolutely nothing. If you sat in bed and did NOTHING all day, that's what your RMR is.
