  • Day 15, Induction Results....(Drum roll please...)

I lost 14.2 lbs. Whoo hoo!

Okay so I told myself I'd try this for 2 weeks only and see how I feel. I feel just fine and 14 lbs. lighter.

I know I need to start exercising but it's not physically possible for me to fit on more thing on my plate right now (not til summertime).

So I guess I'm trying to figure out, do I keep doing the ongoing induction or not? I was 263.2 and am 249.0 now.

I'm tempted to give it another 2 weeks.

Congratulations on your loss so far! That's fantastic! And I'm gonna bug you with the exercise thing because it's part of Atkins! An exercise program doesn't have to be going to the gym, it could start as simply as parking a few rows further away from the store entrance, or taking a flight of stairs instead of an elevator! Here's to your continued success!

      Nice Going!

Congratulations Sassy. 14 pounds is an awesome loss! Keep going! You are on your way... :nod

By the way, you look beautiful in your picture. I love that black dress - very pretty!

Sorry, but I have to bug you about the exercise too. I have a time consuming job where I am confined to a motel 24/7 and it rains. Alot! So I have walked at midnight. I have done a seventies "richard simmons" tape. (Truly desperate!) lol.. I do, whatever I can do.

But the exercise done. It REVS your metabolism! Most people, regardless of their size can walk. If only on your 15 minute break. Walking is fantastic exercise. No excuses. Just do it!

Work your life around the exercise, not your exercise around your life.
It is another way to show how much you love yourself.

You'll be very impressed with the results and will lose weight faster and easier getting excercise Plus you'll feel better too!

woo hoo for you weigh to go.

Did you know exercise as 3 seperate 10 min sesions is a better fat burner then one 30 min and your cardio doesn't know the difference asfar as heakth improvements go? So while you are standingin line go some exercise. take a quick brisk walk around all the asiles in the grocery store before you load that cart!

you can find lots of free exercise time if you think creatively/ Going some place in the carb park far from the door and quick step it to the doors and back to the car afterwards. go the long way everywhere you go! you can find time.
then scedule blocks of exercise time in your day planner right now for next month and then it is therre already so you can't not do it. Cause we all know Dr Atkins said if we aren't exercising we are not doing his program. happy low carbing.

            Happy low carbing.

Perhaps you could think of incorporating these suggestions as your next minigoal - and even sign up for the Exercise challenge and commit yourself mentally to carrying them out.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

You're doing so well. Awesome to see that kind of progress in such a short time. I stayed on induction about 6 months. Keep going!!!
                  :joy :joy :joy
I gotta tell you tho' everyone is harping on the exercise program because its just part of it. I didn't exercise day 1 for the first year and I got slower and slower progress and frustration by not "following the program". I could kick myself for wasting a year on the program and not working it to my full advantage.. some folks here reach their goals in a lots shorter time because they take advange and work it.. so WORK IT GIRL!!! :icondance

FYI: Let me suggest a few things to get ya started. I started with a exercise ball. (Love it!) Also Bellydance DVD and a Salsa Crunch dvd I found at Wal-Mart have worked awesome for me. I fit them in at night after dinner.
Congratulations again on your ongoing success! :wave
