Woot! We are the same! I started last Monday, weighed myself this morning, and I am six pounds down. I'm very pleased.

I did WW for a few months awhile back, I was starving all the time, and the scale did NOT budge.

Now, no starvation and the scale is moving in the right direction. I'm definitely a believer.

I'm so happy for us. I also did weight watchers before, never lost this much in the 1st week!

Well, I've read that most of this weight loss is just water weight. Atkins has a diuretic effect, WW does not. So that explains why the numbers are so big after only a week.

But for me anyway, it is still very motivating to see the numbers on the scale moving down. I really need that kind of motivation to stick to something.

And even losing water weight is good, in my opinion. My wedding ring isn't so tight now.

                      Congrats on your loss!!!!

I am like most of you, 6lbs down from either fat or water is still a good thing.

No reason to be concerned about not losing weight every day: Weight loss is not linear

And keep in mind that being in ketosis does not guarantee weight loss.

Also, don't forget to take body measurements. Sometimes we lose inches without losing pounds... which means we're still losing fat, despite what the scale is saying.

                          Good job on the exercise!
