    ok today i got out a pair of jeans that i haven,t worn since july last year uk size 18 and stretch .

    the last time i wore them they were loose on me......i am on day 14 of induction. and didnt weigh myself or measure as i used to get discoraged if i didnt see a change .anyway i know i have lost on induction i can feel it and my stomach is flatter.
    well what a shock i got when i put on my jeans they are really tight . that means i certainly piled on the pounds since july.
    so today im going to be very strict and use these jeans as my measurement tool .two weeks from now i will see how they fit .

    this has just made me more determined than ever to succeed.

    in the past i would be reaching for the junk food feeling sorry for myself but not this time.

    so kind of a mini goal for me to get these jeans loose again .

    Good for you being determined instead of discouraged. I have 3 pair of too small jeans I use to check each week, each a different size or fit. Right now can wear the first one but they are still a little snug in the thighs. The next pair is about 1/2" from buttoning and the 3rd pair is still way too small.

    Big difference from a few weeks ago when I couldn't even get the first pair up. I also have some tops that are too small. The other day I wore one that I couldn't wear last year when I bought it and it was loose. I weighed a few pounds less last year than I do now.

        good for you
        in the past i would be reaching for the junk food feeling sorry for myself but not this time.
        learning not to medicate emotions with food will go a long way toward helping your stay an Atkins goalie.

          thanks guys

          im also quiting my splenda.

          and eating more eggs.. they really do fill me up.

          my veg intake is good......

          and im drinking lots and lots of water.

          im off to france in three weeks time for a holiday.... feeling a little nervouse with all those bakerys and french cakes.....but im going to be strong.

            make sure you sign up for lots of walking tours of the places you are going and checkout the Atkins legal french foods
            from my atkins for life book Dr Atkins recommends ordering
            haricort verts au beurre buttered green beans

            frisee salad ( there is an accent on the first e) with lardons and poached eggs lardons are bacon

            the rest have OWl ingedients.

            there is a stew of vel with mushroons and tomatoes but the stew has flour in it and the rest have wine.
