    HEY ATKINS FRIENDS IM 21 YEARS OLD AN IM TRYIN TO LOOSE 80 POUNDS .... IM WORRIED I EAT TOO MUCH ON ATKINS BECAUSE I FEEL REALLY FOOL AFTER I EAT ..... THIS IS WAT MY MEAL CONSIST OF I WAKE UP AN I DRING A ARAZONA HALF ICE TEA AN HAVE LEMON TEA DRINK MIX PACKET ITS ONLY 2G PER BOTTLE ... THEN AROUND DINNER I EAT 5 SCRAMBLED EGGS WIT TWO PIECES OF CHEDDER CHEESE MIXED IN WIT 4 PIECES OF BACON AN A LITER OF WATER MIXED WIT THE TWO TEA PACKETS ... I COUNTED THE CARBS IT ONLY LIKE 13 BUT I STILL FEEL LIKE IT TOO MUCH ,,, PPPLLLEEEAASSEEE CAN SOMEBODY THAT HAS LOST A GREAT AMOUNT OF WEIGHT HELP ME OUT IM OVER WEIGHT AN GETTIN SAD AN DISCURAGED

      Zues, you need to read the Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution or look at the foods available to you on induction. If you move around this site you will find lots of helpful tips and pictures of people who have gone that extra mile and have lost the weight. Eating low carb takes some getting used to. Take a tour of the Atkins board and you will find that at the moment you are not doing a proper induction. You have quite a lot of weight to lose and it can be done easily and painlessly if you do things right.

            Here is some very important info for you to read---

            Read and reread all of this and then examine what you are doing.

            EAT ONLY what is on the Acceptable Induction Food list.



            Make sure more than 1/2 of your carbs come from veggies. Stay away from processed stuff and bottled drinks--
            Keep your net carb total close to, but no more than 20.

            It seems you are not eating ENOUGH food, not too much, It seems you only ATE one meal, and drank your breakfast :

              Can you copy here the first and the third rules of Induction? You'll find them in Chapter 11 of your book... the one J. mentioned.

              And what does your book say towards the end of Chapter 8, in the section entitled "A Message to My Friends, the Die-Hard Carnivores"? Can you copy here the first three sentences in that section?

                Zeus are you serious? I'm doubting it. This same post was on a before and after pic thread and got deleted. They were told to start their own thread to ask for help. Now it's here too? I'm thinking someone has too much time of their hands and just messing around.

                    as far as your questions here's the deal though, and this is the truth:

                    there is no such thing as "too full" on atkins.

                    it's not like the crappy starvation diets some people do.

                    There is absolutely nothing wrong with a 5 egg omlette with cheese and bacon. You are doing atkins!

                    This is the only diet in the world where you don't deprive yourself and it still works!

                    Today I was reading a post by jimmy at Jimmy Moore's Livin' La Vida Low Carb Blog where he said when he first started doing atkins sometimes he would eat 4 bacon cheeseburgers guilt free! and he lost 180lbs.

                    Just follow the plan and believe in atkins, and all will be well.

                    Forget about guilt. EAT!
