    Daily percentages...

    Ok so I've been working pretty hard and entering everything as accurately as possible on Fitday.com
    My daily percentages have been averaging out to 1,713 calories per day
    Fat=66%
    Protein=30%
    Carb=3-4%

    Does this sound right? Its crazy I've never eaten this much food in my life...almost seems absurd!

    ANyways, just looking for a little feedback...do my stats look alright?

    Looks good.

    What's more important is what hides behind those numbers.

    Are you eating all your vegetables?

    Are you making nutritious food choices? Check your vitamins and minerals in FitDay.

    Are you sure you are eating only foods that are on the Acceptable Foods List?

      your percents look good and as Georgianna said are those numbers from healthy atkins legal foods including your 3 cups of veggies?

      That said were you hungry when you ate each bite of that food? if so then you are doing fine but if you just ate it cause it was legal for induction food was on your plate and you had room in your belly then you are overeating your atkins.

      We feed our hunger and stop. if we get hungry an hour later we can eat more if we don't feel hungry and it has been 6 hours since our last waking meal then we eat a small snack of some of our fats/proteins and veggie carbs. When hunger returns we eat more.

      You will have hungry days and eat a lot and not hungry days and eat little maybe even less then 1000 cals but that is the correct way to do atkins. feed the hunger and not the belly space.

        Less focus on the %s and more focus on nutrition and the number of carbs you're getting of the right foods will do you better good in the long run.

          Yes I have been doing everything to the book...veggies galore, proteins and fats. Drinking water like its going out of style and only eating when hungry. I also found Linda's Low Carb website for supper I am cooking the Cheesy Hamburger & Broccoli Caserole! Looks pretty good.
          Wondering if I should also have salad with that.
          Anyways...my carbs have not surpassed 20, infact some days it only reaches 17 or 18.
          Anyways, I guess time will tell if I am doing things correctly, and I sure hope I am.
          Thanks for your input

            good job and the 20 grams is the max not the required amount so don't worry if you are only 17-18 grams as long as you are eating at least 1/2 of your daily grams of carbs as your 3 cups of induction veggies
