Re: What am i doing wrong?

What is your exercise routine like. I'm hypothyroid and don't take any drugs. Instead, I hit the treadmill with interval training. That usually clears my mind and reverses hypothyroid effects. Its work, but its worth it. I'm still looking for natural foods to boost my thyroid. Anyone have any ideas?

I also have hypothyroidism (underactive) and when I'm sick (just got over bronchitis myself), I notice my weight loss sometimes stalls. Not sure if it's related to the thyroid or my other health conditions, or even due to lack of exercise, medications (antibiotics, decongestants, etc), or little things like cough drops (I was popping them like pills).

Make sure you're getting enough water in, taking your vitamins and measuring, you could also be losing inches.

Weight loss can be slow with thyroid issues and I've found I'm very susceptible to known stallers (aspartame, cheese, dairy, etc.) so I try and avoid them. I don't eat any special foods or avoid any (some goitrogen are supposed to be bad for thyroid but I've never noticed any issues with them personally), but just follow this Way of Eating and slowly lose weight.
