  • Day 7 - bigger problems

So, i'm doing okay on the diet. that's not the issue. well only halfway.
What is an issue- i had dental work done yesterday. and I'm so sore today that I can't eat anything. I know "real" food is better but I make a water+ whey protien shake (had it left over from ages ago) - since that was protien and not a lot of carbs (2g) and that's the only thing i had/can think of that's low carb that I can have.

Anyone have suggestions of foods that dont require chewing? Right now the only thing i can think up for dinner is some cooked-the-heck-out-of eggplant. I'm getting kinda pissy/grumpy too.

Although at least i no longer feel like crap overall? i supose that's an improvement.

Egg drop soup ... chicken broth with an egg in it!

      Scrambled eggs.

      Some sort of pureed soup.

      Feel better ... that's job #1!

        I second the soup suggestion
Puree any cooked meat and/or veggies with a little water or stock (using a stick blender makes it easy) then add some cream or butter, stock or water and hey presto you have yummy soup made from your Atkins-legal food!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

puree your legal veggies like cauliflower or asperagus or brocolli or spinach and make a cream of soup.

add some fat to your protein shakes

use pumpkin to make an egg bake very soft. just mix raw egg with pumpkin some spice and whatever else you want maybe soem cream or cream cheese and nuke till the egg is done.

or you could go for some pumpkin with cream cheese pie spices and sweetener of choice. nuke for a minute and chow down if you need a recipe look ofr MUP.

creamed spinach is no chew food.

most fish is a no chew food as are eggs.
