  • Help please? Vegetable carbs?

I know that there are about .8g of carbs in an egg yok. 1 g of carbs in 1oz of cheddar cheese. How many carbs are there in 1 cup of Romaine lettuce?

If my carb count so far is 18g, would 3 cups of Romaine put me over 20g?

    Thanks!

Are you counting net carbs? We are supposed to - that is carbs - fiber (vegetables have fiber)

Use FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to help you find out about carbs. It is a very good tool

A large egg is 0.39 net carbs.

An ounce of cheese is figured at 1 net carb.

      That's 1.39 net carbs.

Using the numbers you gave, you have 1.8 net carbs (.8 + 1).

      No.

You can also use the carb counter in the back of your Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (20020.

Remember that Fitday doesn't show you NET carbs, you have to look in the Calories Eaten Today chart and subtract the fiber from the total carbs.
