  • Tomorrow is (again) day 1

I am tired of failing at this. Once upon a time I fell off the bandwagon for... I don't know... Third time? Fourth? But I'm back. One of these times I will figure WHY I fail. I need to because I'm not as young as I used to be, and frankly I'm kind of worried this weight is going to kill me. I know it impacts me every day, from sore knees to an inability to simply play with my kids. My doctor told me last week that he fully supported me going back to low carb and really recommended I stick to it. So... Here I am. Yes, again. But this WILL be the last time I say that.

You should figure it out sooner, rather than later. Until you figure it out, you're more likely to keep repeating the pattern.

        Welcome back, Paul

Can you work out what went wrong the previous times?

Look at the W's - Why, What, Where, When, With Whom - to see if you can find a pattern in your dropping off plan so you can plan a strategy for not falling off ther next time the same situation occurs.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I have been thinking. Part of it I think is my transition to OWL. I tend to get sloppy with that so I need to be sure to really tighten up on my owl progress. I've also fallen prey to using products like low carb mixes, etc before I am ready for it. Becomes too easy to slide into relying on them as a crutch, and then from there to " just one meal won't hurt me" cheating.

LND, is it bad that I thought those were lollipops at first?

                You're funny!

Paul, I can certainly understand where you're coming from. Just remember this - you haven't failed, unless you quit. And you're not doing that! Let's do it, man!

Day 3... bleh. Headache time! I forgot just how bad they suck for me. Drinking water (and thus peeing) like a fiend. Going well though, no real issues yet. Tomorrow is when it gets harder since I have to go in to work. Cooking a bunch of food today to have as leftovers for the week. Also managed to get our square foot garden built yesterday, should have plenty of fresh veggies in the coming months.
