  • On 5th day of induction

    Hi all

I have been back and forth on these boards for a couple of years now. I have finally decided to commit to this woe. I am currently on Day 5 of my induction and so far so good. I must admit to finding things a bit more difficult being in the UK as a lot of the ingredients I would like to experiment with aren't readily available.

Anyway I am going to weigh myself on Monday which will be 8 days into my induction. I haven't been measuring myself but I have already noticed my work trousers being a lot looser.

My diet consists of fried/poached eggs on ham or chicken fillets for breakfast. 1 tin of tuna with mayo, ham slices, salad leaves and cucumber for lunch and dinner is usually chicken fillet with garlic butter/cream cheese or fish, cauliflower/broccoli and mushrooms. I haven't been snacking at all, have been drinking 2 litres of water per day at least and exercising when I can.

I feel like I am doing okay but I am worrying that I'm not eating enough. I do go to bed hungry most nights, but I also don't want to eat so late.

I have a weigh in at my doctors on the 26th of April but he really wants to see the scales move as he gave me a target of 14 pounds to lose. I have lost 11 pounds since Christmas.

Anyway thought I would say Hi as I find reading these threads a big help.

    Hi Caitlin

Welcome back to your international ADBB family

It looks as if you are properly on track already, well done
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
