  • Weigh-in halfway through Induction

I weighed myself exactly one week after my Induction kick-off weigh in, and I lost...

    6.5 pounds!

I feel pretty good about it, but is that pretty on-track? I'm a 5'10" 29 year old male.

Also, part of me realizes that 6.5 pounds blows the doors off any one-week weight loss in the past, but for some reason I had "10 pounds" in my head. Maybe that was never realistic; maybe that's only for obese people -- I don't know.

My goal is 175 pounds; another 20.5 pounds away. What is a realistic timeframe for me to lose that?

    Thanks

    Congrats!!!
It took me a good month to lose 6.5lbs! Lol have you checked your measurements? This is where I noticed the most loss!!!
    Good luck on your journey

Typically you'll find that the closer you are to your (realistic) weight loss goal, the less weight will drop off week to week. While 27 pounds may seem like a lot to you, it pales next to what some are trying to shed. Regardless, you lost 24% of your weight in week one. I think you should take a reality tablet with your daily vitamin and consider that AMAZING progress.

              >>What is a realistic timeframe for me to lose that?>>

When you've lost it, then you'll know.

Make sure you move to OWL when Induction is over.
