OMG I totally fell of the horse today!!!!!!!!!
Ok so today is my forth day on the diet, and in the first two days i felt happy and exited but then yesterday i began felling dissy and stuff, while exercising, and then later that night i ate cake!!! and then today this morning i woke up, SICK so i freaked out with all the food in the fridge! PASTA, PANCAKE, Cokolade.... what?! ... and of course i have decided to take the day of and start again tomorrow. last time i weighted myself was today this morning and i had lost 4,4 pounds(that's why i also don't get why i continued eating!) but i don't know about now(how much i weight). Should i "take the day of" and continue tomorrow guys? or should i start from day 1?
Any advises?? I know from now on i am gonna plan my meals, stupid me!

You felt dizzy and you ate cake. Hmmmmmm

It is normal to have a bit of an transition called induction flu around day 3 or 4 so I am thinking that is what was happening. The best day when that happens is to take it easy. It is usually over after a day and you are in fat burning mode.
So what you can do now is review your actions. Find out why you did this. Not only did you eat off plan but you picked the worst offenders. So that is a bit interesting.

And yes just continue. You can do it.

      Thanks :I
But you don't think i should start over? will it not affect the way my body is buring fat?
ok so thought about it and found out: I felt sorry about myself, i thought "ok you are sick now, delight yourself, eat what you wanna eat, life goes on" and then i saw the pretty stars on TV this morning like Cheryl cole and Gossip girl,,, and i got so sad,, i thought "i will never achive that".... but now i am thinking "you know what?! i will, and i will look smoken hot this summer!" Hehe i think today i will just continue with drinking lots of water, and then tomorrow, hopefully, when the sugar i ate today, has ben burned up, i will coninue.
I don't think i weight 134,5 anymore but i will weight myself tomorrow and then just continue.
PS. are you sure i shouldn't start Induction over?
...... am i sounding strange or is it normal?

You were already on induction so it is not like you should change anything. Just keep going.
Nice that you have figured out what made you go in the wrong direction. That really helps.

Dont give up!!!!! Just pick up the pieces and keep moving forward. Feeling a little out of wack is normal during the first couple of days during induction, it will pass. Remember, induction is the initial phase that helps us being to change our old eating patterns so mistakes may happen but we will learn from them.

            >>of course i have decided to take the day of a>>

            Why not restart immediately?

Your path seems to be the "kiss of death" that Dr. Atkins writes about.

Re: Omg totally fell of the horse! Help!

I read your story and I have been there myself where I would be on the diet for about three days and then all of sudden I would go and grab something that has the most sugar in it just to feel some relief from that sluggish feeling of the induction phase. I wanted to reach out to you because I noticed someone had commented about why did you go for the cake (not in those exact words) but I just wanted you know that I understand. Anyway I just think that maybe you should embrace these mistakes so you know what to watch out for next time. Losing weight is not easy and that might not be the last time you mess up. I believe that once you learn more about yourself and your eating habits, things will become more clear. However I do have a suggestion: when you start back the diet I would prepare by making sure that the foods that I have cravings for are not in the house and find something that will keep you busy such as; reading a good book, making a to-do-list for the next day, cleaning, maybe hanging up a goal outfit in view to remind you of the benefits of losing the weight etc......well I hope that helps. Good Luck!

Re: Omg totally fell of the horse! Help!

I completely understand how difficult it is. I'm in day 11 ( I think...give or take a day, lost track because my work week is literally driving me insane lol) and I'm down 18 pounds. I am a HUGE chocolate lover. I also LOVE coffee. I kept craving chocolate....literally, as pathetic as it sounds, was almost crying the one night because I wanted it so badly. When I have a bad day at work, my usual routine was to come home, drink sugary coffee with hershey's chocolate bliss bar. Well, obviously I can't reward myself with chocolate anymore and that was never healthy mentally or physically to begin with. Since I had such a bad week at work...I came up with a compromise. Decaf chocolate flavored coffee (no sugar or carbs) with splenda and heavy cream. A packet of splenda is less then 1 grm carbs and heavy cream is less then 1 grm carbs per tablespoon. I did half a splenda and just a teaspoon heavy cream for two cups. I felt satisfied by the chocolate taste, the splenda made me feel like I ate something sweet, and the cream was comforting....and no guilt! This helped me alot...hope it helps you as well and makes you feel you're still allowed a "chocolately creamy sugary treat" that's atkin's friendly
Better shine your saddle and hop right back on that horse! hehe!

Just because the label says zero, it does not mean the carbs are zero. American labels round the numbers, so anything below 0.5 will be reported as 0.

                        Coffee has carbs.

Splenda has 0.91 net carbs per packet.

Heavy cream has 0.42 net carbs per tablespoon.

You can find accurate carb counts in the USDA database:
