  • ONe month of induction

Well I have been on induction and have lost 35 lbs. but now I'm so scared to put food in my mouth, I have literally become obessed with every little thing I put in my mouth. Other than that I 'm happy!!!

Your post worries me. Being scared of food isn't healthy and sounds almost like the beginnings of an eating disorder.

You lost 35 lbs in one month? Is that correct?

I suppose some people might say many of us are 'obsessed about what we eat'.
I still enter all my food into www,fitday.com to help plan my menus. But I find it reassuring to know exactly what I am eating, and find it fun to juggle with quantities and options before eating my meals to make sure I keep on track.
Do you plot your meals in advance this way? I feel doing this actually helps me not to be afraid of food. By following the rules 'to a T' I feel in control of my eating.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

          Hi Smile_21

Congratulations on your loss so far, you have so very well! As long as you are eating well and enough, I personally think that it is not unusual to monitor your food intake as you are. I think that when you closely monitor you are in a position to easily identify what your body does or does not respond to, makes you stall, breaks a stall and ensures that you keep in check with intake etc.

I was the same when I started out, not so much nowadays as I find it somewhat hard work keeping a note of it all. I am aware of what causes me to stall, break from a stall and my carb/calorie maxium allowences.

keep up th good work :icondance

Don't be scared to put food into your mouth, be scared to put the wrong food into your mouth! You can eat and the weight will keep coming off, but if you back off of eating you will slow your metabolism and throw your body into starvation mode--then losses will stall :yes

Eat it up girl, and congrats on the 35lbs lost :hug
