I wouldn't call it realistic...I would call it "attainable"
Realistically it will be difficult...15 months of doing anything is hard work. You can't cheat, you need to get exercise...you'll probably stall at some point (most people do)...life always gets in the way.
Plenty of people have done it so i'm sure you can too.
You need to read DANDR and really commit yourself to this.
Having a specific goal in mind is one of the best things you can do.
Also you need to realize that you want to lose more at first and less later on so for 15 months you should lose 10 lbs/month at first and then 1-2 lbs/month the last couple months. Your weight loss rate will slow naturally the more you lose.
