Personally, if I were you, I would look into Ebay or possibly a garage sale in which the proceeds could go into buying new clothes.

Ebay is good on plus size clothing though. My husband is a 2X/3X right now. (I'm trying to get him to lose a little weight with me, since he seemed to gain it with me, but I need to wait until he's ready.) Sorry, I strayed from my original thought .... I know when I searched Ebay for clothes and pants for him, it seemed like the plus sized clothes had more bids on them than the regular sized clothes. My theory is it's easy to buy online for plus sized clothes, especially for men. A lot of stores do not sell a large assortment of 3X clothing.

If you decide to sell on Ebay, I would list around 3 or so shirts per auction. Be sure to have a picture of the shirts. If you don't have a digital camera, you could go to Walmart or another type of store like that and have them put the pictures on a CD. Then you could load the pictures onto the computer to download to Ebay.

I'm about to sell A LOT of clothes on Ebay next weekend. I'm actually in the process of taking pictures of everything right now. I told myself that I could use half of the money I make on Ebay to buy more clothes. The other half will go into my bank account. (I just became a stay-at-home mom, so I want to make sure I have money and don't have to request personal money from my husband.) Whatever doesn't sell on Ebay, a friend will be having a garage sale in which I figured I'd try to sell them there. If they don't sell there either, then I'll either look into a consignment shop or dropping them off at a thrift shop.

I'm not sure if they have Plato's Closet in your area, but I think this is probably what FightingtheFight was talking about.
