  • I Have To Get Back On Board!

Ok...with all of the stuff going on in my world i've been off and on for the past 2 weeks. I havent gained anything....THANK GOODNESS! But i just feel horrible. I have been having headaches and i'm just tired all the time. I know what it's from it's the deadly carbs....UGH!

I have told myself several times that you can do this you can really do this! Look how far you have come! You cant quit NOW! I only have 29lbs left to go and cant get the motivation!

I'm figuring if i post about it...it will help me. I so want to be down to 150 by halloween but dont think it's possible with the way i've been behaving.

Ok...well hopefully with the venting i just did i will snap myself out of it! I JUST HAVE TO!!!! DANG IT!

Somebody come and kick me in the butt!

There you go! Hi Iwillbethin. I joined the Board around the time that you left town, I believe. I've been lurking for a few months and your progress has been quite inspirational to me. You get even more lovely with every picture you post.

Congratulations on not gaining, especially during such a stressful time. You know what you have to do now. Get off the carbs!! Within 24 hours you will probably lose a lot of that crappy carb-hangover feeling and then you'll get right back on track. Do it! Do it! You've come so far, now is no time to be backsliding.

Those last 29 lbs are gonna come off quickly. Maybe you should start thinking about changing your name. It kinda might not make sense once you actually are thin.

Are you eating carby foods at home or away from home? If at home put a before picture that you dread in the kitchen. If away from home put in your car. I've got a truly horrid one of me in the kitchen. I was in a big group of people and I was the biggest one!!!!!! It's so easy to backslide sometimes because we've come so far and we think "Oh...just a little is o.k." but it just leads to more and more bad habits again. Make a true resolve to get back on track...heck...write out a personal contract for yourself if need be! I also got rid of every single stitch of clothes when they got too big for me. Thinking I *literally* won't have anything to wear reminds me why I'm doing this!

IWillBeThin, it's so good to see you back. Just get right back in that saddle & keep going. Look how far you've come. Don't let it go; keep going!! (Beautiful new photo of you, by the way. Great clarity, too!)

Start fresh. Go grocery shopping for only the right foods. Decide on a start date that you can stick to. Get a journal (I use one that I love that I got from my pharmacy).

You can do this. I am back on my umpteenth Induction and am down 5 more lbs in 7 days.

You can do this AND you'll feel better

OK girl, venting done, time to move on and not look back! Think of all the hard work to get to where you're at now. Just a little more, and you'll be where you want to be. Proud of yourself and your accomplishments! Feel great about yourself, and how far you've come, and know you WILL DO IT! Enough said, now onwards, and you know you have friends here you can count on!

                Iwillbethin..

I have been off this Board for at least a month and a half and your progress pictures are so inspirational! Keep up the good work, you can get the last 29 pounds off just do it girl! You've worked this hard, j ust do it so that you don't have to worry about overweightedness or anything. Get down the 29 pounds off so that you can closely monitor your weight and that way if you gain a few pounds it won't be harmful to you, and you can get it off easily!

                You can do it!

I'm restarting myself today...Saturday..but I still have a long way to go!

Hey! Welcome back! I'm SO GLAD you are all right! I was really concerned because of the hurricanes! Congratulations on not gaining weight! The next few days will be heck in a handbasket, but once you get past the cravings, you'll be right back on the skinny path to cute tights and cutie Halloween costumes!

                    Hi Iwillbethin,

I have to say you are a huge inspiration to me. Ive been doing Atkins since January and so far lost 85.5 pounds. I found this board quite awhile back and finally just joined on. You are one of the people I always looked to for inspiration!! I know that you can do it. I agree with Cleochatra (sorry I hope I got it right) that it will be a battle for a couple of days but remember how far you have come...maybe read back through some of your posts and remember how good it felt. You can do this...I know it. I am glad that you and your family are ok after the hurricanes! Take care

Ok Jennifer....think about how far you've come. You were wearing a bikini this summer! Are you going to give that all up? I don't think so. Now get back at it! Right now!
