  • I did cardio 4x this week for 35-40 minutes

    and lifted weights 3-4 times..is that enough excercise for the week?







    Starting Weight: 307-310
    Current Weight: 220
    Short Term Goal Weight: 225 by May 1st (met)
    Long Term Goal: 215 pounds by June 12th (almost there!)

    i'm certainly not the authority but it's probably great as far as weights is concerned.
    i'd throw some cardio in there though. perhaps some running, biking, one of the dvd that are popular.

      When you do this programme, it's important to add to your normal level of exercise. You can add slowly, but you need to do more than you were previously. All within reason of course... I mean, if you're a gym instructor who takes ten classes a day, forget what I just said! Lol!

        Sounds like plenty to me, although Sally does have a good point about increasing your normal level of exercise. Is this amount of exercise new to you? What have you been doing in the past?

          I've been doing that amount for the last 3 months now.

              Hi Ovakh, good for you for doing all that exercise, well done.
              For myself, I find that every little while (month or so) I have to either change my workout completely, make it a little harder or more intense, to keep getting the good effects.
