    Thanks! Yeah it was ok! I had about 7 drinks...then drunk a LOT of water and ate alot of bacon and eggs in the morning. When i first started atkins a year ago, I was binge drinking 4 nights a week (vodka and soda)...and getting REALLY SMASHED.... and i lost SOO much weight...but not this time! I think it might have been a little detrimental but its allll good!

      I have found on nights when I partake in a few cocktails (vodka and soda) I end up not wanting to eat, where in the past before Atkins, I'd eat anything.

        Just in case this thread has confused anyone reading this who is on induction (this is the extended induction forum after all!!) alcohol is not a 'legal' part of Induction no matter how long we stay on that restrictive phase of Atkins.

        So anyone drinking it during induction is not following Atkins according to the 'manual' and so might be risking falling off the WOE as well as limiting their chances of losing weight most efficiently!!

        If you want to include alcohol as a regular menu item why not start to move up the OWL carbohydrate ladder so you can enjoy it as part of your 'legal' options instead of alloowing yourself to eat/drink off-plan?
        Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
