  • Committed To Another Week Of Induction

I guess I can post here now - extended induction. Today is my 2 week date - it has been hard at times but not terrible either. I'm down 19 pounds (which blows my mind) and I seem to be continuing to lose at a pretty good pace. I've lost 4" from my waist and a couple here and there. My legs have grown almost an inch - but they didn't have much fat on them to start with and I've stepped up the exercise routine quite a bit. So, I am staying with induction for at least another week maybe two - then I'll evaluate again.

To those who have also extended induction - did the weight loss slow down much?

Congratulations on your awesome losses so far! You're doing really well!
To answer your question, when I did extended induction my weight loss did slow a little, but not too much. This is normal, as in induction we lose a lot of water weight at the start, which pushes up the average. When I went on to OWL, as far as I remember, my weight loss picked up again on the first two rungs. After that, I still lost just as well, but it was more in fits and starts. I'd pause for a couple of weeks, then whoosh down again... then pause again... and so on, until goal. I did have a couple of longer "pauses" of around 4 weeks, but then the losses started again, no problem.

WOW!! Congrats on the weight loss so far. That is great. My weight loss slowed a bit when I went to extended induction the first time. But not by much. I've found certain foods that seem to make me lose weight. Maybe its all in my head but I think they do. You just have to find what works for you. For me it seems to be egg salad and cabbage. Of course not at the same meal.......LOL. Oh and exercise sure helps too.

I've restarted and am now starting the extended induction again so we will see how it goes. Good luck on your continued weight loss.
