I just want to be able to fit into a size 6. Right now I'm an 8/10. I must say though, i drop weight so quickly that sometimes I have nothing to wear because my jeans fall right off me. It gets expensive.

I've been FAT for over 30 years, so no...I don't have any 'goal' clothes waiting around for me to fit into. But...I've made a promise to myself that beginning March 12th (my one year anniversary) I am going to start putting aside $100 a month so I can buy new wardrobe when I hit goal. My husband said whatever I save, he'll match when I hit goal.

How exciting dreamof145! Now that's support. So what do you think you'll buy first? Do you have a "fetish"? Meaning, do you collect shoes, love dresses or anything like that? I think one of the things I'm most excited about buying once I get to goal ( a long time from now) will be underwear and lingerie. ...woohoo No more tent sized anything for me..lol :icondance

LOL, there's no way you will make it to goal before you get to buy some new undies, Bleu-Bell!!!! LOL, before you know it yours will just be falling off of you and you can only use so many safety pins to keep those babies up! Just stick with it and see if I'm not right! LOL, I've gone from a sz 10 undie to a sz 7 now! It's so nice to not have to wear big momma's granny panties! It won't be long and you'll know what I'm talking about!

I had a pair of levi's that were my goal jeans. When I started Atkins I couldn't get them past my thighs, let alone on my hips. Now however they fit, do up and are even too baggy in the thighs.

It's a great idea to have an item of clothing that you can try on monthly as it is just so motivating when you see the changes and the item starts to fit

While I don't have any "goal" clothes, per say... I do plan on going out and buying a nice suit when I reach my weight and fitness goals. Short of that, I have had to buy clothes as I lost all the weight. I just about fell over dead when I fit into a pair of 34 waist pants, though. :yikes

I have a pair of white pants that my boyfriend loves. So my goal is to be able to wear them. I also have a kick *** bikini that I want to look hot in this summer!

I have a whole closet full of goal clothes....I gained about 30 lbs after my figure competition and our move to Colorado (a year ago) and haven't gotten it off. So I only have TWO pair of jeans that fit me right now - I refuse to buy any more "big" jeans/clothes so I can't WAIT to get back into my closet again...its like a graveyard for old skinny clothes that haven't been touched :sadblinky

SOON though I'll be in there & it'll be like CHRISTMAS :joy

I found while losing that my existing clothes were starting to look too big to wear, but i couldnt' really afford to buy new ones..i'd been at least 25lbs+ overweight for 10 years so i had long got rid of any 'thin' clothes i'd owned. I started going to thrift stores to buy some 'in between' clothes. I'm now addicted!!! Even at goal i still buy jeans and my workout clothes there.

For my goal clothes...in the summer i found a pair of gorgeous black leather pants at a sale but they were a size 3/4and were too tight. I keep them in my closet and kept trying them on every month or so. I wore them to a party at xmas and they fit perfect..a bit loose even!!(i'm actually wearing htem in my signature pic but you can't see them LOL)

It's great to have something to inspire you. And as well to keep you on track....

I have about uhmmmm.. 3 closets worth of "goal" clothes... i.e. all the clothes I wore before I gained so much weight. Every Sunday evening after the kiddo goes to bed, I go through and sort clothes, I know I'm insane. But I have the clothes that I can wear hanging up (easy access for work) and then the ones that I'm really close to being able to wear out of the house are in the dresser, then the ones that are still a bit aways (like size 12s) are in a different closet... *everything* started out in the closet... It's kinda fun to go through and see how things are changing in just a week and be able to say when you look at yourself... eep! ok, maybe next week this'll fit me like I want it to!
