  • I love sugar-free jello - who'd have thought?

My palate is changing. The first time I tried sugar-free jello I thought it was nasty - :tounge - not sweet enough...

Now after a few weeks without sugar, I can't believe the change in my mouth.
    .
I had a sugar-free jello today and it actually tasted sweet to me. It was great...wonderful, wonderful....

Funny how your taste buds change after a long time (over a year) with very little sweet food.
I made some 'sugarfree jelly' the other day and had to spit it out as it tasted sickly sweet to me. :vomit
Luckily my DH is on maintenance and will eat the rest or I would have thrown it away!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

        Loving that sugar free jello

I buy Jello sugarfree jello they have a couple of kinds out, orange and cherry that have 0 carbs..I bought another store brand last week and looked at the ingredients and it included 1 gram of carbs per 1/4 cup so I make sure that I compare the labels...I usually have the entire box of Jello for my snack at night..It only comes out to 30 calories, and I figure it as my treat at the end of the day...And it fills me up...Is this a bad thing? :raving

          it stalled me

I'm glad youre enjoying it, i love it myself. if any newbies are reading this, a bit of advise, I started out eating SF jello, and had a hard time losing, as soon as I cut it out, the weight started dropping again. try it out for yourself, and see if it triggers any stalls. enjoy!

If you like SF jello.... try it with Splenda sweetened Land 'o Lakes whipped cream. It's hard to find. The only stores I've found it in were Super WalMart in Orlando, FL, and Ralph's in Long Beach, CA. Zero carbs per serving. YUM

And to those who have a habit of wanting something sweet every day, I'll suggest something that I did which will annoy most of you .... I cut out the sweet tasting stuff ... no sugar free jello ... rarely any splenda at all. Why??? Because it was a habit that was a holdover from eating junk. Old habits require new behaviors and when people ask me why I haven't had urges to cheat, I give credit to breaking that habit early in Atkins for me.

              Just another opinion!
