O.k CarbCop...you've got me convinced! I'm buying all the stuff I need today and hopefully will make this tonight. Sounds too good to be true but I thought the same thing about flax and now I love the stuff! I'm actually pretty excited about this now. Hopefully I can hold out till dinner time to make it!"Only request in my behalf both inward and outward strength...that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one." -- St. Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to the Romans

This pizza is indeed one of the best things I discovered last year. Someone on the george stella forum brought it forward and people went nuts about it.
I like to make it and bake it very brown so its got more of a bread texture, then brush with garlic butter (or evoo) and make a "white pizza"
with cheese. So yummy.

O.k, I made this last night. Husband comes home and looks at the recipe and frowns. He asks one question..."Cream cheese?" I had already made the crust a couple of hours before and when he got home I started putting on the toppings and etc. He was very quiet...probably sure that I was going to serve some weird experiment and call it "dinner". Well...HA! It turned out freakin' fantastic!!!!! We both absolutely loved it. Tastes just like real pizza. If I hadn't made it myself I would have been sure I was being lied to. This one is a real gem and I can't believe I scoffed it for so long. Thanks to everyone here who posted how much they liked it. This is now going to be a regular recipe that I'll be using. :icondance"Only request in my behalf both inward and outward strength...that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one." -- St. Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to the Romans

I kept reading this thread thinking this is gonna be one of those things like pork rinds that everyone loves but me. Well I made it tonight and it was the best pizza ever. My mom who isn't doing low carb really liked it to and asked me to make it again. Everyone needs to try this. I actually cut the cheese in the crust down a little and it still came out perfect. Definitely a new favorite.32yr old Female

I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but with all the raves I just had to try it. I made it Thursday night and it was delicious. For my family I pulled out frozen pizzas from the freezer that are delivered by the "yellow truck" because I didn't feel like driving into to town for take out pizza. My husband came home and wasn't thrilled at all with what we were having for dinner. He ate 5 slices of the "yellow truck's" pizza. I offered him some of mine. He had turned me down earlier, but changed his mind and cut a small sliver off of a piece. A couple of minutes later he was eating the rest of that piece. He thought it tasted far better than the pizza delivered by the "yellow truck" and he is a fussy eater. I had it Friday night, too and if possible it was even better the second night. Thanks for a Great Recipe!!

Divide all the ingredients by half.Originally posted by KRemoCan anyone figure out how to adjust the recipe for just an 8 x 8 pan?
IF you have a glass 8 x 8 inch pan, you can "bake" the pizza in a microwave. Oven is best, but the microwave version isn't bad.~Megs~

The crust is ten times more delicious than any other pizza crust I have ever tasted. Unfortunately for them, the pizza chains haven't yet discovered this method of pizza crust making. Honestly, after eating it, who'd even think of comparing regular pizza dough crust pizza to it? There is absolutely NO comparison whatsoever.

You're absolutely right. Who knew crust doesn't have to taste like wet cardboard!!!??? Even if I had never tried or heard of Atkins this would still beat out any other pizza...hands down. In fact, I've got a crust in the fridge for tonights dinner. Besides the cooling time it's actually pretty quick and easy. Amazing considering how good it is."Only request in my behalf both inward and outward strength...that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one." -- St. Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to the Romans
