  • just a lil ramble: day 19 induction

ok its day 5 of extended induction. i've not put on or lost any more weight. but its my fault. i have not been exercising whatsoever, and i've been eating loads. bad habits die hard haha.
but tomorrow i'm going for a long walk with my boyfriend.i'm gonna put my alarm on early and just get out the house.
i just pray the weather will be good, its been pising down these last few days.

i must admit i've been thinking of quitting a few times these last couple of days. mainly because i havent lost any more weight.
but like i said before, thats my fault, not the diets. so i'm sticking with it.

i did something bad though...i took a couple of slimming pills. i havent a clue what they got in them, but they cut your hunger, and make you slightly hyper. i know i shouldnt have. but i just needed to give myself a kick up the arss.and it worked.i ended up doing the housework, cutting my hair, waxing my whole body, painted my nails, put a facial on,and aslo did some cross stiching.not to mention i only ate about 1300 calories, which for me is fantastic.

but i know exercise is the key, especially at my weight, because i havent got alot to lose. what i do have can actually be eassily gone with exercise, but its just actually doing it hahahahaha. god jane get off your lazy butt!!!! haha

by the way, does anyone know if a bit of tobasco a day is ok?? i know citric acid isnt great, but does tobasco have citric acid in it??
its cuz i've been drinking lots of mint tea, which is really bland,so today i put a few drops of tobasco in my teas, just to add that spicy taste.

anyway thast it folks lol :-p
    stay strong everyone.

oh ps: i am OVER THE MOON that my sugar and carb cravings have gone. its such a relief. its gonna be hard when i get to OWL onto the berrie rung.because i just used to love berries, and any fruit really. its hard to stop once you start eating them.and i really never want my sweet tooth to come back.

hahahahaha. yeah i kept myself busy.
i tell ya what though...i feel great now. my legs were really starting to look like gorilla legs, not to mention my skin being dry and flakey. i now look hot if i do say so myself looool :-p hahaha.

been a long time since i've actually pampered myself. and my home smells all fresh and clean too. hehehehe.

heaven knows whats in those pills. i've had them for a while, but stopped taking them a few months ago,and still have loads left.
i wont take anymore now though.its just that i've been feeling so damn lazy,i needed a boost. i know i should have more will power. but ya know how it is sometimes. i've had so much to sort out and things on my mind, that when i'm at home i just wanna eat and stay in bed.
but then i remember that thats exactly how i put on weight in the first place hahahaha.

      anyway,tomorrow..walk..tomorrow...walk...tomorrow. ..walk. must exercise tomorrow.hehehe

Check the ingredients in it. If all are "legal", then the sauce is "legal".

I'm not sure why you're still in OWL... Most people who have only little to lose experience a stall in their weight loss if they extend the Induction period beyond the usual 14 days. Their weight loss usually restarts when they move to OWL.

really?? i guess i'm just scared of going onto OWL and not lose anything.
mmmmmmmmmmm. maybe i should move on then if its worked for some people. after all it has been 3 weeks now on induction.
i think i just feel i've not been doing things right recently. i've been eating loads!! and not exercising.and i just assume thats why i've not lost anything.
i really have been lazy. and i really have been eating too many calories. one meal would be between 4oo and 9oo calories, and i'll have about 4 meals like that daily.but i always have eaten alot. and before i put on weight it never made me fat. its eating the wrong foods that ended up making me fat in the end, like having 3000 calories of icecream and cakes.and again,no exercise.

ok shut up jane!!! sorry guys. i have to get a grip. i have to move my flabby butt off the sofa and get out. today i'm going for a long walk with my boyfriend...when he flipping wakes up lol.

maybe i will move onto OWL as well. as for eating too much,i've just gotta control it
i've just gotta keep reminding myself that i want to be skinny faaaaar more than i want to eat

yeah! ok i will move on, and see what happens. yaaaay

          thanx guys as always

Until your boyfriend wakes up, here's something for you to read.

Re: just a lil ramble: day 19 induction

Moving to OWL works for many people. You lose best when your body gets surprised now and then, but keep in mind that a great many people run into Post Induction Stall Syndrome (PISS - there is a thread on this under Most Memorable Posts) where after the first two weeks of Induction your body will choose to take a couple of weeks to readjust itself and you won't lose. This usually happens somewhere between the third and sixth week in Atkins. You need to be prepared for this to happen so you don't assume the diet isn't working. It is, but your body is holding back. Eventually you get a whoosh and several pounds will fly off. Chances are this week is because you were a sloth but be aware of the possibilities and don't throw in the towel just because a week or so goes by without a loss. Many many times three or four weeks will go by, but you are usually losing inches and the pounds will start to go again. Have patience.

Jane, get in the habit of asking yourself "Am I hungry or do I just want to eat?" Then eat 1/2 as much as you'd like and put the rest away for 30 minutes. You know you can have more in half an hour and maybe you won't want it by then.

ok i just read the link.
its interesting that the last 5 to 10lbs should be lost in pre maintenance. because i have about 10lbs left to lose, so that means i should definately move onto the rungs.

That's right. This way you'll learn what you can and cannot eat in order to maintain your goal weight once you get there.
