  • Withdrawal yesterday....

I thought since I had a short reinduction and already upped my carbs for owl I would avoid induction flu. I'm assuming it was a sugar withdrawal and it was horrible. I hurt all over my entire body, but I was also kind of excited knowing I was making it over an important hurdle. I feel great today and what a motivation to keep sugar out of my life. :vomit

Did you also introduce a new food? Or perhaps upping the carbs another 5g was too much for your body? Perhaps up it by 2g every few days till you reach the 5 that you are supposed to increase? What's your carb amount at the moment?

How much did you up your carbs? And what food did you use?

I've reinducted after having alot of experience with this WOL so I know it's not from upping my carbs. And the icky feelings don't coincide with going to owl. Upping my carbs only makes me feel better (as long as they're good one!). I'm back to my previous rung of berries, but I'm not up to the carb level I was at previously. I'm going to stick to the additional 5 per week. The additional foods have only made me feel better in the past so I know that's not it.

Well, if it's good old carb withdrawal, you'll have to ride it out. If not, see a doctor, because they don't call it "Induction flu" for nothing
