  • 1st week on OWL = -2 pounds!!

Oh, I am so happy! I've been stuck at a 23 pound loss for weeks. I started OWL this week and I lost 2 pounds. However, I don't think I am doing OWL precisely how it was meant. Due to being on the road a lot and not home to prepare stuff myself, I believe I only had 5 extra veggie carbs on two days. Is this ok?

The really neat think about this WOE is that my food tastes have changed! I am 36 so I don't know if my taste buds have changed but I am eating all kinds of things that I didn't like before - salmon, spinach, cauliflower, etc. It really opens up a lot of options!!

I will stay on my diet. I will get healthy and lose weight. There is nothing I could eat or drink that tastes as good as how I feel at this moment on this WOE ~ nothing!

that's okay, this week add the 5 net carbs daily and see what happens.

You're proof of what I always say----extending Induction only helps those people who have a high metabolic resistance to weight loss, the rest of us are better off going from Induction to OWL.

No amount of Atkins will make me like Cauliflower

I do eat a lot more green beans now that I used to hate.

        Iap,

Aah, but I bet you haven't tried it in mock potato salad or broccoli salad??? Seriously, I despised the stuff. Mask it with some mayo and stuff and it's ok!!
