Well, I've been on this WOE since May 1, 2006. I've lost 20 lbs. since then, but I seem to have leveled off. I exercise at least four times a week for at least 45 minutes and I drink tons of water. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. My mom thinks I'm not eating enough, but I feel that I am. Any ideas? Thanks!

What's your CCLL?
Review your menu and see if your slow down coincided with the addition of any new food or any food in a greater quantity or any food combinations.~Megs~

My CCLL is 35.Originally posted by not2lateWhat's your CCLL?
Review your menu and see if your slow down coincided with the addition of any new food or any food in a greater quantity or any food combinations.
My typical daily menu is...
Breakfast: Low-carb breakfast bowl (meat, eggs, cheese) from Hardee's
Lunch: chicken salad with bleu cheese dressing or low-carb burger without ketchup from Hardee's
Snack: SF jell-o or swiss cheese or ham/turkey
Dinner: some sort of meat and usually one or two veggies
I drink at least over 100 fl. oz. of water a day.

Are you still in induction phase, or are you in OWL? Try posting your typical day's intake here, in case there's something that flags potential for trouble. It's normal for weight to fluctuate, and the initial weight loss when you start induction rarely continues at that pace. A stall is when you are levelled of for a minimum of 4 weeks, and still need to lose.~Susan

You posted as I was writing, psychic!
Your breakfast has almost 1400 calories and no veggies.

Is the bleu cheese dressing low carb? That could be a culprit if not. Also of question still are the portion sizes of your lunch, dinner and snacks.
Even though you have CCLL of 35, and may be eating that or less net carbs, if you're taking in too many calories, especially too much protein (which can get converted to carbs!
) you may have sluggish progress.

Re: Slow Loser, Plateau, or Doing Something Wrong?
where are you getting your carbs from? I don't see 35 net OWL carbs in there.
Yep that breakfast bowl at Hardees is on big protein feast with out any of even your induction veggies.
When we do Atkins we eat some protein some fat and some of our carbs at every meal so we are always fueled up in the right ratios.
As far a long in Atkins as you are you should be getting the apetite suppression side effect of ketossi. Are you only feeding your hunger and stopping even if you got food on the plate room in your belly and/or carbs in your budget? that is one of the hardest things for folk to learn about doing Atkins. feed only your hunger and you will be a loser again.by the book atkinseer

Re: Slow Loser, Plateau, or Doing Something Wrong?
That Hardee's Breakfast bowl and burger are also LOADED with sodium. That wont help either. I have to agree you are not eating enough veggies. Can you not make a breakfast or lunch yourself to take to work/school with you? Not only will you konw exactly what's in your meal, you can ensure you're getting your veggies, and you will save yourself a fortune $$.

Re: Slow Loser, Plateau, or Doing Something Wrong?
Thanks y'all for the advice.
I was eating the low-carb breakfast bowl about everyday in the past, but have it about once a week or on the weekends now.
The bleu cheese dressing is zero carbs. I eat very small portions for my meals. I'm really not hungry at all. I don't snack, except for an occasional afternoon snack at work to up my energy.
I think I will up my veggies and watch my protein (I get lots and lots).
Thanks again!

Re: Slow Loser, Plateau, or Doing Something Wrong?
Lots and lots of protein is bad and bad.....
The majority of that protein converts to sugar/carbs. So if you overeat the protein, you're not doing yourself any favors in terms eating low carb because you can be eating well above your CCLL due to the sugar conversion.~Megs~
