chicken broth

Hi All, Has anyone noticed a difference in using the chicken broth from the store versus making your own.? I just don't have time and would love some soup.
I buy the Organic Swansons Chicken broth and yes it does have sugar in it.
Not much but there is sugar.

Homemade tastes better, imo. I kind of cheat with my chicken broth. Whenever I bake or sautee chicken, I deglaze the cooking pan with water, scraping up all the bits stuck to the bottom of the pan. I save that water in a container. Then when I collect enough chicken bones, and other little bits and pieces, I simmer them in that pan water along with an onion.

I use store bought out of laziness. I use it to cook rice, veggies, and a few other things that aren't coming to mind. Someday when I really have my act together I'll make my own.
