    Definnitely an extra few carbs per day (45) to maintain would be better than crashing off. You might even be pleasantly surprised and still lose at that level.

    Juli is probably right... it could easily be hunger due to your added exercise.

    See how things go for a while on that regimen.

      Hey you guys, thanks for the advice

      It is definately all day general hunger - but it is linked to an increase in exercise and is more severe after exercise.

      Going for 45g carbs from today - and see how I get on.

        Yay! I think your body will love the carbs. Remember, you weight loss shouldn't HALT, it will gradually slow down as you add carbs. So unless you've been barely losing anything, I think you'll be just fine going up to 45g.

        I would also recommend doing it for 2 weeks, not just one. That way you can make sure it's not TOM, or water retention, etc.

          Why not add more meat if you feel hungry and want more calories?

            I would add fat before I add meat. Too much protein will convert to glucose and be stored as fat.

              Julie - I think I will try it for 2 weeks, that makes sense. Am drooling in anticipation but on some days it will be hard to get enough carbs - bizarre.

              Attek - Yes, that's what BF kept saying I should do but I am loathe to add more protein as I'm often over on my % on fitday.
