  • these past two days were bad...

I know I should not have hiked up a rung when I was not working with a complete deck of cards due to fatigue a lot of hard work...so I have no idea what triggered my overeating other than maybe hormones and fatigure..but it would be sad to blame the blueberries!!!.....so I am not ...I think I will do induction for a couple of days and just go back to the berry rung like nothing happened and see?....it should be easy since I ate enough food to keep me full for a month!!!...all low carb but calorie wise ...argh......feed back about a two to three day induction then back to berries?

Yes, I'm trying something like this too. I was sick last week and could only have clear liquids, so I added in Splenda so I could have some diet drinks (someting other than water!) and now I can't quit wanting to eat. I blame the Splenda, but I just keep eating it anyway. Like you, everything has been low-carb, but I'm still eating too much. I'm going to quit the Splenda, do induction for a few days and then start up the ladder again. I'm only on rung 2, though, so I'm not too far up it anyway.

    Good luck!

if you are out of ketosis then yes go back to induction otherwise drop your carbs back down and your foods back down to the last rung you did successfully and see what happens. If you are okay then you have to decide your next test will it be berries but stay the same carb wise to see if it was berries, will it be full speed a head back to the new 5 net carbs of berries and test your hormones theory, or will it be 5 new net carbs but still eatting just my already climbed rungs to see if it was the new carb limit.

This is why I call OWL the great food experiment we test test test and then after eliminating all the possible varibles we draw our conclusions.

You know nurselady I did this a few times over xmas/new years..didn't eat anything illegal but ate waaaay too much of hte legal stuff. The first time I did it i went back to induction for a couple of days...but when I did it over new years I didn't bother, just went back to my regular woe. I actually ended up losing a couple of pounds. dont' fret about it too much..Im sure you'll be fine !

There's no need to drop back to induction as long as you are in ketosis. You might consider dropping back on your calories for a day or two.
