This may be a stupid question but I've recently added milk back into my everyday diet and was just wondering about the sugar content in it. Every label I've seen lists 11grams of sugar per cup. Is this naturally occurring or is it added? Just wondering because I'll eat things that aren't 'approved' for the diet now but the one thing I always try and stay away from is sugar. Thanks.

The sugar in milk is in the form of LActose...which I believe is a natural suger.
A company called Hood had made a product called Hood's Carb Coundown Milk. Its a reduced lactose form of milk, and most who've tried it think its really good. Personally, I hate milke so I haven't tried it, but I know it comes in whole, low-fat, 2%, and chocolate.
The chocolate gives some people problems because they have portion control issues with it.
Anyway, if milk is allowed in one the OWL dairy rung if I remember correctly, but if you're concerned about the high content, then look for Hoods
