  • Some OWL questions

    0k i just started owl im on 25g of carbs a day how long do i stay on the first rung
    do i stay on each rung for 1 week or 2 weeks
    another ? i know i add 5 carbs is that 5 carbs from rung 1 the 1st week then ill be at
    25 carbs then i add 5 carbs from rung 2 the 2nd week then i sould be at 30 cabs a day and so on until i start to gain weight what if i dont get to rung 9 befors i start gainning weight

    You stay on each Rung a minimum of 1 week.

    You add 5 net carbs and move up the rungs until you stop losing weight. When you stop losing weight, you go back to your previous carb level. For example, if you are up to 50 net carbs and you stop losing weight. You back off to 45 net carbs and congrats, you've found your CCLL.

      does that mean if you get to rung 7 and you start to gain then you move back to 30 carbs a day do you still get to add in the foods from rung 7,8 & 9 or do you stay at rung 6 add not add any foods from the other rungs sorry for all the ? im just trying to do this right to find my ccl agin my book is supose to be here on the 4th thanks

        Yes, DBL, you can then swap out your OWL rung foods to see if they give you blood sugar problems and so try the higher OWL ladder rungs while keeping your CCLL at the level you have established.

          And it's not when you gain. It's when you stop losing weight. There's a difference.
