How big is a "small" avocado?

DANDR permits half a small avocado in Induction as a special category food (p.129), and half a California avocado as part of the first rung of OWL (p.174), so a full small California avocado total (if I am interpreting that incorrectly, someone please let me know!)

Does anyone have an idea as to what weight/size constitutes a "small" avocado?

the avocados I buy are about the size of my hand pinched to mimic a ball - I eat half of one (and put lemon juice on the other to keep it from turning brown then put saran wrap on it).

I agree, I think a small avocado is about twice the size of a large egg .
