    Hi Muffy,

I started proper food combining in January (2K10) eating 1/4-1/3 c of blueberries as soon as I got up, waiting 30 minutes before eating breakfast. Blueberries have over 4g net carbs per 1/4 cup according to the list at:
    Carb Charts - Low Carb.

I dropped them for my induction period; not worth the 4g compared to other choices.

They'll be there for you later.

    You can do it!

It's in the book, Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002).

    Have you not read it?

You should read the book, Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002). Without informing yourself about Atkins, no one can tell you what to eat each day, in what amounts, combined with what, at what times, when to more from one rung to the next, what foods to add when and so on. These are decisions you need to learn how to make.

Also take a look at the sticky threads in this forum.

    What's your current carb level?

On which rung of OWL are you?

What foods did you add up to now?

One of the Rules of OWL is that if any food causes blood sugar instability problems (cravings for that food or other food and to an extent the inability to stop eating that food), you must drop that food from your menu.

Keeping a steady blood sugar aids in weight loss during Atkins.

Nuts and seeds are limited to 1 ounce daily (1/2 ounce for cashews). All other OWL foods are limited to 5 net carbs. Just remember that just because a food is legal doesn't give you the license to over-eat or over-indulge with it.

2 cups of sunflower seeds? The limit is one ounce.

Do you have any room left for the vegetables you should be eating?

    Hi
What is a "little package"? It is always helpful when replying here to give quantities, such as in ounces, because your little package and my little package could be quite different...LOL.

BUT, if you are on induction, you should not be eating blueberries OR sunflower seeds. Your siggy says 14 day Induction.
If you are still on Induction, to be successful, you have to follow the plan properly.

What source are you using for your information on how to follow the Atkins WOE?
