  • Owling... Rung 6

I made myself some low carb ice cream yesterday. Delicious... Moving up to rung 6 was a big step for me as It's so hard to get in that many carbs from EACH rung everyday! Sometimes I feel like I am just eating more to get all the food groups in. Like today I felt like I was eating the almonds just to get my nut quota in. I need to be re-inspired...

How imperative is it to eat from each of the rungs daily? What if I just don't feel like fruit or beans etc that day? Can I skip out on it? Sometimes I feel like I'm eating more than I want to eat just to get in my fat/protein.

My caloric intake goes anywhere from 1400 - 2000 each day without me feeling any different.

If I only have 12 lbs left to loose to my goal, and I'm only at rung 6, is it still ok to loose a lb a week?

we don't have to eat each rung daily. What is important is to eat at your new carb level daily with foods from the rungs you have already conquered plus the new 5 net
ig you have 40 you could use several of the higher carb other veggies from induction along with your new legumes on rung 6 to make a killer mexican layered dish and use your nuts/seeds to make chips to eat the layered dip with.

Ahhh, ok. Thanks for the clarification. Now that you explain it, it makes soo much sense. Obviously you can't necessarily eat from every rung, every day. Like how many beans would be 5 net carbs? Mmmm legumes.
