  • New recipe

    Just made the following recipe, it tastes lovely and would be great with flax crackers or an oopsie!
    Roast 3 tomatoes, 1 large aubergine, 2 long green peppers( new mexican type). Drizzle liberally with Olive oil.
    I roasted for about 30 mins, then i added another table spoon of oil, salt and pepper, 2 garlic cloves and 1 tbsp of vinegar. Then i stick blended the whole lot.
    This made to large bowls and as i intend to use it as a relish, i will probably use a tablespoon each time.
    This Is a take on a traditional Turkish dish called soslu patlican and i am gonna research more of the same meze type recipes as they seem to be all pretty low carb!

      Adapting recipes from your culture is awesome! My husband and I created a jambalaya recipe using grated cauliflower!
