  • RE: Does yogurt have way less carbs thread. Buttermilk same?

According the the yogurt poster, Dana Carpender, the author said same about buttermilk, which I love to use for soup, baking, sometimes a small glass to drink.
Anyone know if we should still count the 12 carbs?

Anyone know if we can contact the author to see if she can update and verify?
    TIA :wave

There was a discussion a couple of weeks ago on this topic which might be useful to read http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...light=yocheese
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

She wrote her book and based her counts on the Go diet folk who tested forlactose in yogurt. As was explained in the other topic lactose os broken down inot to base sugars and theproteins are denatured to create carbs too. the manufaturers of all yogurts have their products tested by independant labs to see how much of eachis in them and you'd think if this GO diet fellow was correct the carbs would be differenrt for the tests be they aren't. same cals proteins, fats fiber and carbs keep showingup batch after batch.
