  • Check my foods, Please!

    After 8 days and no weight loss, its time for me to post the foods I have been eating to make sure I am doing this right. I do not have specific menus to post because I have not documented each meal.

    Breakfast has been the same each day;
    3 scrambled eggs
    4 slices bacon
    2 sausage links/patties
    All labels were checked and all say 0 carbs........I have a few of those days put a small dap of sour cram on the sausage patties.

    Lunch/Dinner consists of:
    chicken cutlets
    buffalo wings---2 carbs per serving (maybe 2-4 servings)
    steak
    kosher hotdogs
    egg salad (egg-full fat mayo, 0 carb)
    tuna fish/mayo
    hamburger/cheese burger
    boars head roastbeef, turkey breast (1lb of each for the week)
    various cheeses (not exceeding 4oz per day)
    iceberg lettuce for a salad w/ bluecheese low carb dressing
    broccoli w/ low carb cheese sauce (small amounts)
    I have also used hollandaise sauce, low carb ketchup, 0 carb yellow mustard but kept the amounts relatively small.......been also taking a multi-vitamin each morning after breakfast.

    I have tested myself with those ketone strips and appear to be in the small to moderate area making me think I am doing this right.......Anyone see a problem with my foods?

      Yes, if you are more specific with quantities that would be most helpful. There's a sticky in this forum that helps explain how to post a menu.

      Just one thing though, ditch the iceberg lettuce in favour of leafy greens like spinach/romaine/leaf lettuce. Iceberg is little more than chewable water when looking at it nutritionally, and the others will give you much more.
