  • Please look at my menu!!

    I am a very picky eater. So I try to stick with things I like. This was my menu for today, in induction. Please tell me what you think


    Breakfast 2 eggs scrambled with a tablespoon of cream
    1 small slice of ham (1 oz maybe?)

    Lunch hamburger, 1 oz of mozzarella cheese
    1cup of lettuce with 1tblspn of crumbled bacon

    Dinner hamburger 1 oz of mozzarella chese
    1 cup of frozen brocolli, sauteed in butter with garlic
    3slices of bacon

    Snack 1 small chicken breast plain


    All meats were cooked on George Foreman grill.

    If the ratio's were close to what they need to be, then your day was great.

    Just looking at it visually, I'm thinking you might not be getting enough fat. Also I only see 2 cups of veggies, and if that lettuce was iceberg, you're short-changing yourself on valuable nutrients and fiber. Mix it up and try spinach, romaine and a wide variety of veggies from the lists so that you are eating something that packs a nutritional punch.

    You have ham and two servings of bacon in your day: be mindful that processed meats have lots of sodium, so perhaps cut down your portions of those so you don't retain water. And when you do eat a fair amount of that sort of stuff, drink drink drink up that water to counter balance it.

    Instead of plain chicken breast try dipping it into blue cheese or ranch dressing to add more fat to your diet and to keep from being bored with your food.
