  • OWL- dairy, week 2

    Please review my menu this week. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm on track. This will be my 2nd week on dairy so I'll be having some everyday! I've had cottage cheese and yogurt (and still lost weight) this week so I'm adding milk as a new type of dairy next week.

    Any suggestions?

    Saturday Sep 29th
    L: Emergency Nuts

    Pumpkin/Starbucks Blend coffee (0)

    2 egg salad with mayo on 2 cups spinach (2.5)

    1 can tuna with mayo (0.5)

    B: ½ cup cottage cheese (5)

    8 oz Spaghetti squash with 4 oz parm cheese and olive oil (12)

    D: 4 oz chicken stirfry with 1 cup broccoli (5)

    Net carbs: 25



    Sunday Sep 30th

    L: Emergency Nuts

    Pumpkin/Starbucks blend coffee (0)

    ¼ Meatballs recipe and 2 cups spinach and blue cheese dsg (3)

    B: 3 egg Omelette with 2 slices cheese and roast beef (4)

    4 oz whole milk (6)

    D: chicken with 2 cups broccoli stirfry with 1.5 Tbl soysauce (12)

    Net Carbs: 25



    Monday Oct 1st

    Avocado slices (2)

    Roast beef and horseradish on 2 cups spinach (2)

    Broccoli with dressing at work (7)

    B: mahi-mahi with 1 cup red bell pepper (5)

    D: ½ cup cottage cheese (5)

    ½ meatballs recipe (4)

    Tuesday Oct 2nd

    2 cups spinach, roast beef slices and 1 Tbl balsamic vinegar (3.5)

    **make the 2nd batch of meatballs this morning

    B: mahi-mahi, 1 tsp seasoning and 1 cup red bell pepper slices (6)

    D: 4 oz spaghetti squash with 2 oz parm cheese and olive oil (6) with ¼ meatballs from the second batch made (2)
