  • What is/are your favorite new low carb marketed foods??

One of mine is Mt. Olive Bread and Butter pickles with splenda! Yea! I think we could make these too using the refrigerator pickle recipe my MIL has.. gonna try!

I also like the new low carb Ketchup!

I hate all of that stuff. If it isn't lowcarb by nature..I don't eat it :nono

I try not to eat too much of that stuff but I will say that Breyers butter pecan ice cream is absolutely awesome!

I do like the low carb ketchup. Nice to have a different condiment to use occasionally.

I don't eat much of it either, however since I hit lifetime maintenance, I've added the Heinz one carb ketchup (use it rarely), the Carb Countdown chocolate milk, and the Dreamfield's pasta (very rarely).

Mostly its meats, veggies, fruits & whole grains for me! Oh and lots of tasty fat! :nod

The Mt Olive pickles are really good! I use them alot in ham and cheese iceburg lettuce wraps.

I definitely use the One Carb Ketchup, and use CarboRites baking mix to make things like fried mushrooms, fried mozzerella sticks, etc.

I'm pretty impressed with Carbquick bake mix I made some great bisqcuits with it. And i just got my first mail order of davinci sugar free syrup...i use english butter toffee flavour in my coffee.

On the weekend I discovered Dairy Milk Delight (at walmart) s/f chocolate bars. They are amazing!! it's really really creamy chocolate, i'd compare to real brittish chocolate actually. I've found that most s/f chocolates are not creamy at all. Though I just had 2 pieces then hid the rest in the back of the fridge, as is is made with sugar alchols and I'd suffer i'm sure if i ate the whole thing. I'll have a square or two once in a while as a treat.

I really liked the carb options teriyaki sauce, but it's been discontinued in canada...I miss it already. :sadblinky

My husband loves the Atkins pizza and the hood carb countdown milk. Of course......he thinks nothing of woofing down a package of cinnamon rolls and washing it down with low carb milk. :sarcasm It reminds me of the diet soda with a candy bar days...LOL. He met his goal, is slim, and just cuts the carbs where and when he feels like it. :guns He has maintained his weight loss for 8 months. He lost about 20 pounds.

As for me, I don't use any of the low carb products. I would like to use the low carb whole wheat tortillas when I hit the grain rung! They look so delicious, but I should not even look, I could gain weight by just looking!! :anger

I sometimes use the low carb whole grain tortillas and hood's carb countdown milk. Very rarely, I have the atkins cereals. My most frequent product usage would be the mt olive pickles, and the land o lakes whipping cream with splenda in the can (both are great!)

Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate - 19g carbs in a 100g block of chocolate

One square (10g) is so rich, so NOT sweet, so chocalatey that it is enough to stop you wanting more. each square is 1.9g carbs each.

Definitely the occasional Atkins Endulge chocolate mint cookies (although haven't had one in more than a month) and CarbSmart fudge bars

But at most I have one of the above once a week.
