What is a "normal" amount of sodium for a person to have in a day? It seems as if my amounts differ wildly day to day and I don't know when I've had too much. It has been hot these past weeks and my weight seems to go up and down quite a bit every day something that has not happened in these past 14 months. I keep drinking more and more water but these last 5 pounds have been harder then the first 80! The weight dosen't seem connected to the higher sodium days but maybe it takes a couple days. Anyway, I don't know if I am having too much sodium or not since I don't know how much is too much.
