  • Has anyone stalled due to over-flaxing?

Not sure if that's a real term or not but I wondered if anyone has had a stall due to eating too much flax?

I had some flax crackers this afternoon and was going to take some with me tonight when I go scrapbooking, but I don't want to overdo the flax....

Just wonderin' if this is a frequent "staller"

Not that I have ever heard. The fiber in flax seed is just slightly under the number of carbs, so it's not going to impact your carb intake much, either.

I wouldn't do it every day, but having an extra cracker or two shouldn't hurt you, weight-wise. In fact, you may, um, lose some, uh, yah......well, it's fiber.

If someone is on induction and uses flax as an aid against constipation (or the opposite) it is suggested we start by using one tablespoonsworth a day and increase it till it works!!

If however you have reached the nuts and seeds rung of OWL it is allowed as your 5 net carbs addition to your diet but may cause the same problems it cures in induction if you overdo it. Only experimentation will tell if YOUR body can handle it in quantity.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
