Re: The fattest part of the fattest state

It's very sad that this huge problem (no pun intended there) exists and that people close their eyes to it. I'm sure all countries in the developed world are the same. In a magazine I buy there was a recent article on a website Big Beautiful Women Downunder http://www.geocities.com/bbw_downunder/. They clebrate being large! A recent award was given to a lady, who, even though she has lost a leg to type II diabetes, brought on by her obesity, says she does not want to lose weight.
All I could ever think and dream about was losing weight to be a normal size and be healthy. I hated being out of breath walking up the stairs, having my legs and back and feet hurting, and most of all, the looks in clothing shops and eateries.
I'm so glad I found Atkins!

So Labarum, are you insinuating that there are no fat people in England?

Not at all - the problem is nearly as bad here.

Oh, o.k. Actually though I'm not surprised about where the biggest problem is here, that's one of the poorest states, When you're poor you tend to eat what is cheap, and what is cheap is not usually the same thing that is good for you. Bread, rice, pasta are all very cheap and that is probably mostly what that area consumes.
