Remember when you could look at a food product and actually see how many grams of a certain vitamin or mineral is found in a serving in that product? Some "brilliant" idiot probably was patting himself on the back when he came up with the idea to change that to the "easier and dumbed down for the general public" way of displaying this info by using percentages.
I get so frustrated with this change even now. Say that I want to know the calcium content in milk. Well, it is going to give me the percentage of calcium that I will get given that I eat a 2000 calorie a day diet. Well, what if I don't? And what about my kids? Dang it I just want to know the cotton-pickin grams of calcium in an 8 oz serving! That's just an example.
This happens with every food product with me. Why did they change it? It was EASIER the old way, and totally stupid this way. I never use it, because it NEVER helps me.
Am I crazy, or do any of you hate this too?
