Heidi
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Oh, Heidi girl. No, you are not so different. I sit here with tears in my eyes reading your post not from sympathy, but empathy. I manage people, I manage my family, I have huge responsibilities on my shoulders 24/7 it seems somedays. And, it too, sucks the life out of me, add hormonal imbalance to it...and...well, I get drained, pissed, DRAMATIC, storm off, say things I don't mean, say things I do mean in a short/terse/nasty way, etc. etc. etc. Then I feel
embarassed because I've over reacted. I, too, am lucky to have loving and understanding family and friends...and that includes those at ADBB.
Welcome back.~Joy

Well I love ya Heidi and am glad to see you back.
I think that the majority of us are over-worked and under-appreciated.

Re: Learn discipline from a 600lb Buddha
oh I am SO glad to hear reality spoken by someone other than me! I work at home, usually. So I kind of get in a quarantined environment and when I go off feeling like, Hey - wait a minute. A full time job, a full time husband, a full time baby and 3 other kids and and and and.... well you know all the sad, bad, crappy stuff. And I say to my husband, "I'm tired and tired of XYZ" He just tells me I'm having a mid-life crisis.... Do I want to kill him sometimes???? Have a guess!
Thanks for that Heidi!

Loving-kindness right back at ya, Heidi.
Of course we all have our moments/day/weeks/years! After all, the only constant is change.
I'm so delighted that you took this approach to things... for me, the only thing that has truly worked is realizing that I was dealing with the suffering of life by causing myself more suffering (i.e. poisoning myself with unhealthy amounts/types of foods) and that I should be as compassionate to myself as I try to be to others.
I bet you are a terrific nurse. You are a terrifically nice lady, that's for sure.No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

Vigilance, not perfection.
