I occasionally will have Icebreaker sours, or chew sugar free gum, if I really feel the need to have something sweet in my mouth, or I need to freshen my breath to talk to someone.
Don't let them become a crutch, keep their use occasional, and see how they affect you. If they give you cravings or knock you out of ketosis, you may have to cut them out.

If you choose to have them (and I won't even get into all that, as others have already opined on the subject), they taste really good--just like the ones with sugar (or at least what I remember the sugary ones to taste like). It's getting to where most of the sugar-free alternatives taste awesome. Thank heavens they DO have sugar alcohols and the negative side-effects thereof, or else there are a lot of people who would probably overindulge.

Yep... Scooter's right... be wary of the Frankenfoods, even more than you'd be wary of the Frankenstein!!

Personally, I love the Icebreakers Sours. IMO, nobody got fat eating them.

                  Re: sugar free lifesavers

Altoids have a "sugar free -small mint" I am almost a 100% sure they are made with sugarlose.
I had couple last week and checked my ketostix and I was still dark purple all week.

I cut them out this week though cause I am trying to cut back on any artificial sweetner, for the rumor is they can cause stalls.

                  Hang in there!
